China launched Communication Technology Test Satellite-24 from the Wenchang Space Launch Site in south China's Hainan Province early on Wednesday. The satellite lifted off at 12:16 a.m. aboard a Long March-7A carrier rocket and successfully entered its planned orbit. It will be used for multi-band and high-speed satellite communication technology validation, and its launch marks the 645th flight mission of the Long March rocket series.
