A report released by the China Software Testing Center predicts that China's eldercare service robot market will surpass 10 billion yuan (about $1.47 billion) in 2026, as the sector moves from technology trials toward large-scale application. The growth is being driven by China's rapidly aging population and rising demand for smarter elderly care services. Today's robots can go far beyond cleaning or meal delivery, offering fall detection, remote monitoring, rehabilitation support, companionship and mobility assistance for seniors in nursing homes, communities and households.
