In China, Mandarin is the official language, but the country is also home to many regional dialects – some so different that they aren't mutually intelligible. Now, a new Chinese film, Dear You, shot entirely in Teochew, a southern dialect, has become an unexpected hit. Its theme song, Brewing Tea Under the Moon, is also striking a chord with audiences.
