China voiced strong concern over Japan's latest draft of its annual defense white paper, which reportedly describes China as a "security threat" in the Pacific.
At a regular press briefing on Thursday, Jiang Bin, a spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense of China, said Tokyo's actions contradict its claims to be pursuing a defense-oriented policy.
He warned that a remilitarized Japan is gaining momentum, causing concern among many countries.
