Recently, Secretary of Culture of Belgrade Jelena Medakovic arrived in Huangshan to attend the Global Mayors Dialogue, exchanging experiences on ancient city management and development with urban managers from around the world.

Medakovic noted that Belgrade is an ancient city with nearly 8,000 years of history and is undergoing rapid development. Every time she visits China, she is amazed by the ubiquitous Chinese brands on the streets, especially in the automotive sector, which she described are "like a car fair." She praised China's well-preserved cultural heritage and modern architecture that integrates traditional elements, and emphasized that China's practices in intangible cultural heritage protection are worth learning for all countries.
