Mayors and city representatives from 10 countries have convened in Huangshan, Anhui Province, China, for the 2026 Global Mayors Dialogue, being held from May 28 to 31. The event addresses heritage protection, cultural inheritance and urban development, providing a platform for participants to exchange perspectives on preserving historic assets while promoting sustainable growth. As part of the event, delegates also examined local architecture, green development initiatives and Huangshan's strategies for safeguarding its cultural heritage.
