In 2025, its matcha output hit 2,500 tons, generating an output value of 500 million yuan ($74 million). Of the total, 1,300 tons were exported, making Tongren the world's second largest matcha exporter. Its products are available in more than 30 cities across China and sold to 54 countries and regions worldwide.
