As part of the 2026 World Intelligence Expo in Tianjin, an international robot soccer championship has gathered university teams from around the world to push the boundaries of embodied AI. Kicking off alongside the expo, the RoboCup Asia-Pacific (RCAP) Tianjin Invitational 2026 drew nearly 30 squads from leading universities at home and abroad. Among them, a robot soccer team from Tsinghua University has fought its way through the competition, thanks to experience drawn from previous championships and their relentless refinement in visual perception, motion coordination and real-time decision-making.
