Axios: U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has spoken in the last 48 hours with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu in an attempt to advance a new ceasefire initiative. The senior U.S. official said the new initiative was proposed as part of the ongoing negotiations between Israel and Lebanon. Another round of talks between diplomats from both sides is scheduled to take place this week in Washington
