Hello, my artist friend: Linking the world, one stroke at a time

Art is a language that needs no translation. And illustration? Even more so. At the Shanghai Illustration & Pop Show, nearly 200 exhibitors from over 10 countries and regions came together to build a truly global illustration ecosystem.

When illustrators from different cultural backgrounds meet, making friends takes on a special form – instead of handshakes, they pick up pens and create a piece of art together. From the Eastern elegance of the lotus flower to a child's whimsical imagination of "a strongman and a giant mermaid taking a walk in Shanghai," every stroke becomes a conversation from the heart.

As the illustrators said: Art has no borders, no language barriers. Connecting with one another and understanding each other's stories, that's what matters most.
