Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said an agreement between Iran and the United States must include an end to attacks on all fronts, especially Lebanon, the official news agency IRNA reported on Tuesday.

He made the remarks during a Monday phone call with his Lebanese counterpart, Nabih Berri, while stressing that Israel must end its attacks against Lebanon.

He said Hezbollah and its ally, the Amal Movement, are defending both their motherland and the Muslim world today, adding that the bond between Iran and Lebanon is "unbreakable."

Qalibaf emphasized that Iran is committed to establishing a ceasefire throughout Lebanon, including in the southern part of the country.

Iran's main military command, Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, on Monday warned Israel against bombing the Lebanese capital, Beirut, and its southern district of Dahieh, according to IRNA.

In a statement, the command warned residents in northern Israel and settlers in the occupied Palestinian territories to evacuate if the Israeli attacks continue.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry also issued a statement on Monday, highlighting the US and Israeli violations of an April ceasefire.

It said following the ceasefire, the United States has repeatedly committed "flagrant violations," including continuous attacks against Iran's shipping, and Israel has "blatantly" violated the truce, as well as Lebanon's national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz on Monday said in a joint statement that they had ordered the military to strike Beirut's southern suburbs in response to repeated Hezbollah "violations" of the ceasefire in Lebanon by launching attacks on northern Israeli cities.

Israel's state-owned Kan TV News said on Monday the Israeli cabinet had decided to postpone the attack after US intervention.
