A pair of wild swans in Xinjiang's Bayanbulak Wetland has successfully hatched five fluffy cygnets, with the family of seven seen foraging and playing together on the water. The devoted parents teach their young essential survival skills like swimming and foraging, while the curious babies explore their new world. As a key habitat for wild swans, the wetland sees its hatching season from May to June. Once fully feathered, the young swans will migrate south with their parents in October and return the following spring.
