The Third World Conference of Sinologists is taking place in a city built on the exchange of ideas and cultures: Dunhuang, in northwest China's Gansu Province. An important junction along the ancient Silk Road, Dunhuang is this time hosting 300 experts, academics, and scholars from home and nearly 70 countries to discuss how civilizations can come together to address today's global challenges.
