The Nalati Grassland Outdoor Sports Carnival has kicked off in Xinjiang's Ili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture. The cyclists raced through a backdrop of green meadows, wild flowers and snowy mountains as local herders cheered them on. Alongside cycling, the three-day event features cross-country races, equestrian shows and cultural performances, drawing over 2,500 participants and providing a major boost for local businesses. Organizers also promised to protect the environment while promoting outdoor sports.
