Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith is on a visit to China until Saturday. In recent years, China and Laos have seen growing cooperation in trade, tourism and people-to-people exchanges, supported by the China–Laos Railway. Since entering service in 2021, the cross-border line has become a key transport corridor linking China with Laos and the wider region. Four years on, it is helping turn connectivity into tangible opportunities for communities and businesses on both sides of the border.
