Chinese President Xi Jinping and Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith held talks in Beijing on Friday during the Lao leader’s visit to China. Xi called for expanding cooperation in areas including culture, education, healthcare and local exchanges. As ties between the two neighbors continue to deepen, people-to-people exchanges have also flourished. In southwest China’s Yunnan Province, one Lao educator is helping bring the two cultures closer together.
