The eastern corridor of the China-Europe freight train network has seen more than 3,000 train trips this year.

A return train carrying cooking oil, automobile tires, aluminum ingots, and other goods entered China through the Manzhouli port in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on Saturday, bound for Wuhan in central China.

The eastern corridor consists of three railway ports: Manzhouli, Suifenhe and Tongjiang. The number of operating routes on this corridor has increased to 27, linking over 60 Chinese cities with 14 European countries.
