A Chinese-developed consumer-grade wing-in-ground craft, described as the world's first of its kind, made its debut in Suzhou, east China's Jiangsu Province, on June 4. The vehicle is designed to skim 30 to 80 centimeters above water and can reach speeds of up to 85 kilometers per hour. Developed by domestic firm NAVEE, the craft is aimed at overseas markets for entertainment projects, resorts, luxury hotels and yacht clubs. The debut also reflects the growing overseas reach of China's smart manufacturing and its push into the global low-altitude economy.
