The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Sunday that it had struck what it called a Hezbollah infrastructure site in Dahieh, a suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut.

The strike was carried out in response to Hezbollah fire toward Israeli territory and was conducted under the directive of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz, Netanyahu's office said in a separate statement.
