North Macedonia lies at the crossroads of civilizations in the central Balkans. Its cinema grows out of valleys, villages, migrations and memories. Now, seven award-winning films are being shown together in Beijing for the first time. Sashko Nasev, the country's ambassador to China, told CGTN's Zhang Meng that platforms like the EU-China Film Festival are "a good path to gain some good gems." He also looks forward to seeing Chinese films screened in North Macedonia soon.
