It's peak migration season for Tibetan antelopes in Hoh Xil, northwest China's Qinghai Province, with thousands making their epic journey across the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau. Female antelopes migrate each summer to give birth, crossing mountains, rivers and vast grasslands along routes they have followed for generations.

To protect this ancient migration, wildlife passages were built along both the Qinghai-Xizang Railway and Highway, helping the animals cross safely. Once endangered by poaching, Tibetan antelopes are now making a remarkable comeback thanks to years of conservation efforts.
