Blue sheep, a species under second-class national protection in China, have entered their breeding season on Gander Mountain in Wuhai City, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
Herds of blue sheep were seen foraging and playing with their newborn young, while the lambs followed their mothers across steep cliffs and practiced climbing. Their lively movements and adorable appearance have added a touch of warmth to the early-summer mountain scenery.
