For screenwriter Artin Selmani, the true value of cinema lies not in trophies but in its ability to bring people together.

As part of the first North Macedonian Film Showcase in China, Selmani shared his thoughts on storytelling, cultural exchange and the role of film in bridging cultures.

In an interview with CGTN's Zhang Meng, he said the "biggest prize" for filmmakers is seeing how audiences respond to a story. "Cinema connects the world," he said.
