The president of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, has thanked China Media Group (CMG) for its congratulatory letter following the club's latest UEFA Champions League triumph, while also expressing his hopes for closer cooperation with the Chinese broadcaster.

In his letter, Al-Khelaifi said everyone at PSG deeply appreciated the warm wishes and sincere congratulations sent by CMG after the French side captured a second consecutive European title.

He described the achievement as far more significant than simply winning a trophy, saying it was the result of years of dedication, hard work and collective effort across the entire club.

The PSG chief added that the success belongs to every member of the club's family and expressed pride in helping make history for the city of Paris, the nation of France and French football.

The correspondence arrived as attention turns to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which begins later this week in North America.

On behalf of the Ligue 1 powerhouse, Al-Khelaifi wished CMG success in its coverage of football's biggest tournament, noting that he looked forward to strengthening exchanges with the Chinese broadcaster.
