Planning to catch a Brazilian film at the Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) this year? 

As China and Brazil celebrate the 2026 China-Brazil Year of Culture, this year's SIFF features a special "Focus Brazil" program, bringing stories from one of the world's most vibrant and diverse countries to the big screen.

At the same time, travel between China and Brazil is getting easier, with visa-free entry now available for ordinary passport holders from both countries.

From movie theaters in Shanghai to the beaches of Rio, the distance between China and Brazil just got a little shorter.
