Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit Mongolia from June 13 to 15 at the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh, the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday.
Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, will meet with Mongolian leaders and hold talks with Battsetseg, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said. The two sides will exchange views on bilateral relations, practical cooperation and international and regional issues of common concern.
China and Mongolia are friendly neighbors connected by mountains and rivers. Under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, bilateral relations have maintained sound momentum, Lin said.
China looks forward to further implementing the important consensus reached by the two leaders, and promoting the steady and sound development of the China-Mongolia comprehensive strategic partnership, the spokesperson added.
