A family of corsac foxes, a species under second-class national protection in China, was spotted on the grasslands of Ergun, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. On the lush summer grassland, the male fox was seen foraging, while the female stayed close to the cubs as they played nearby. The warm family scene added a lively touch to the vast grassland and reflected the rich biodiversity of the local ecosystem.
