"Environmental protection and the rational use of natural resources are fundamental to achieving sustainable development and protecting human rights," said Yagmyr Nuryyev, Director of the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, at the 2026 Forum on Global Human Rights Governance in Beijing. He noted that the forum's outcomes have been actively welcomed by the international community and are helping strengthen global human rights governance, promote green development, and contribute to building a community with a shared future for mankind.
