The middle corridor of the China-Europe freight train network has handled more than 25,000 train trips since its launch in 2013. The milestone was reached on Friday after a China-Europe freight train departed from Erenhot Port, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
Erenhot Port is the largest land port on the China-Mongolia border. As the only port of entry into China along the middle corridor, Erenhot has seen its train trips increase over the years.
