At the 2026 Forum on Global Human Rights Governance, Agnes Oswaha, undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of South Sudan, said Global South countries face challenges such as sanctions and the burden of foreign debt. She noted that multilateralism remains indispensable when facing global challenges.
