The memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Iran and the United States to end the war is not signed on Sunday due to "the other side's hesitation," Iran's semi-official Tasnim news agency reported Saturday, citing Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei.
Earlier in the day, Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif wrote on social media platform X that a peace deal between the United States and Iran is expected to be finalized within the next 24 hours and that Pakistan is preparing for the electronic signing of the peace deal immediately after.
On Saturday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it struck more than 70 Hezbollah military infrastructure sites in southern Lebanon over the previous 24 hours.
