Sichuan high-speed rail integration advances with two tunnel breakthroughs

Two key tunnels at Lezhi Railway Station in southwest China's Sichuan Province have been completed on June 14, marking a major step forward in the integration of two high-speed rail lines. The Songjiawan and Pujiagou tunnels will connect two major railways, enabling cross-line operations and more efficient train turnarounds. Once fully operational, the hub will improve regional rail efficiency and strengthen connectivity across China's high-speed rail network.
