The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement on Monday that, following a situational assessment, it had decided to update the Home Front Command's defensive guidelines. The revised measures took effect at 10:00 a.m. local time on June 15 and will remain in place until 8:00 p.m. on June 16.

Under the updated guidelines, the limit on public gatherings of up to 5,000 people has been lifted across all areas of the country. Communities adjacent to the northern border will remain under partial activity, with no change to the existing guidelines, according to the statement.

The IDF urged the public to continue following Home Front Command instructions and to stay informed through the official platforms of both the Home Front Command and the IDF.
