Splashing smiles, glittery makeup and fashionable hairstyles — this summer brought the energy as Shanghai Tower hosted the 3rd Towerrunning Women's Challenge. The race drew about 800 female participants from nearly 10 countries, including China, Norway and Spain.

This year, a new competition was added alongside the individual run and the double challenge: the Skyrox Challenge, in which participants were required to complete eight fitness training exercises before taking on the vertical run from the second floor to the 69th floor of China's tallest building.
