At the 2026 World Youth Development Forum in the central Chinese city of Wuhan, around 500 youth leaders from the United Nations and around the world gathered to shape the future of youth. CGTN's Li Qiuyuan spoke with Felipe Paullier, UN Assistant Secretary General for Youth Affairs. His take? Institutions should place youth at the center, give young people agency and work with them as equal partners. He also praised China's commitment to youth exchanges and its recognition of young people as drivers of change.
