Shanghai Disney Resort celebrated its 10th anniversary on June 16. The resort reached a major milestone in October 2025 by welcoming its 100 millionth guest.

As the world's sixth Disney resort, Shanghai Disney has introduced attractions ranging from classic Mickey Mouse experiences to the original IP LinaBell. In 2023, it opened the world's only Zootopia-themed land, further building its identity as "Authentically Disney and Distinctly Chinese."

The resort is now expanding, adding its ninth themed land featuring the Spider-Man IP, along with plans for its third and fourth resort hotels. Beyond tourism, it has created more than 15,000 direct jobs and continues to attract an increasing number of international visitors, further strengthening Shanghai's role as a leading global travel and consumption hub.
