Fuzhou's Sanxi Village, the ancestral hometown of many overseas Chinese, does things a little differently during the Dragon Boat Festival, or Duanwu. Unlike most parts of China, it holds its traditional dragon boat races at night. Many wanderers return home at this time of year, so families and old friends take time to enjoy a reunion before hitting the water.
