The Belt and Road Film Week of the 28th Shanghai International Film Festival rolled out an in-depth Pudong Discovery Tour, giving filmmakers an opportunity to explore Shanghai's Pudong New Area.

Centered on the core theme of "New Pudong, Real Life," the event offered international filmmakers an immersive urban experience.

Film guests from across the globe visited a farmers' market and a community cultural center, and also took part in cultural activities such as paper-cutting, table tennis and community group dances.

Instead of being casual sightseers who merely glance around, the guests immersed themselves in the local everyday life. They gained genuine insight into Pudong's achievements in modern development, its warm, livable charm and rich Shanghai-style culture.
