Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said on Monday that restrictions on Iran's oil and petrochemical exports had been lifted and some frozen Iranian assets released following talks mediated by Pakistan and Qatar in Switzerland over the weekend.
In a post on social media platform X, Araghchi said the developments also included the lifting of a blockade and the launch of a major reconstruction and development plan for Iran.
"Restrictions on oil and petrochemical exports have been waived, the blockade lifted, some frozen assets released, and a major reconstruction and development plan launched for Iran," he wrote.
Araghchi also praised the mediators, saying that "tireless Pakistani and Qatari mediation has delivered major progress to end the war in Lebanon."
The US government has not publicly commented on the measures described by Araghchi.
