China has achieved a world-first breakthrough in deep mining technology after building the world's first kilometer-deep mine shaft using full-section tunneling methods. Equipped with a self-developed hard rock tunneling machine, the project overcomes the difficulties of traditional high-risk and low-efficiency deep well construction. This intelligent and green mining upgrade greatly boosts China's iron ore supply security and strengthens the stability of the global industrial supply chain.
