The Communist Party of China (CPC) was founded 105 years ago. What has kept it young and vibrant to this day? According to Li Junru, former vice president of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee, one of the key reasons is its unwavering commitment to ideals and dreams. A well-known story illustrates this spirit: Chen Wangdao was once so engrossed in translating The Communist Manifesto that he mistakenly dipped his zongzi into ink instead of syrup, later describing it as "the taste of truth." It was this very book that inspired Chinese Communists to embark on their revolutionary journey. 105 years later, the conviction rooted in those ideals remains as strong as ever among CPC members.
