The Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress, China's top legislature, began its regular session in Beijing on Tuesday. During the four-day session through Friday, lawmakers will continue deliberating a draft revision to the Trademark Law and review a draft financial law, among other legislation.
Lawmakers will also review draft revisions to the Government Procurement Law, the Public Bidding Law, and the Law on the People's Bank of China, along with a draft amendment to the Law on Certified Public Accountants. Deliberations will also continue on draft laws concerning procuratorial public-interest litigation, as well as Antarctic activities and environmental protection.
