Inside a rare blue hole in the South China Sea, scientists found a thriving ecosystem filled with corals, fish, sea turtles and other marine life. Researchers say the blue hole took shape through the long-term growth of coral reefs.They believe it began forming at least 3,200 years ago, making it the first coral reef blue hole identified in China.
