The death toll from the strong earthquakes in Venezuela has risen to at least 164, with 971 people injured, the country's acting President Delcy Rodriguez said on Thursday.

Rodriguez added that an initial fund of $200 million will ⁠be created using ⁠resources ⁠from the International Monetary ‌Fund to rebuild infrastructure, ‌hospitals ⁠and housing.
