The death toll from the strong earthquakes in Venezuela has risen to at least 164, with 971 people injured, the country's acting President Delcy Rodriguez said on Thursday.

Rodriguez added ​that an initial fund of $200 million will ⁠be created using ⁠resources ⁠from the ​International ​Monetary ‌Fund to rebuild infrastructure, ‌hospitals ⁠and housing.
