Before-and-after satellite images and aerial footage broadcast by Venezuelan state television reveal widespread destruction in the coastal state of La Guaira after two powerful earthquakes struck the country. Entire buildings were reduced to rubble in one of the hardest-hit areas north of Caracas. Officials said at least 235 people had been killed and more than 4,300 injured, as rescue teams continued searching damaged buildings for survivors.
