Firefighters from Spain's Military Emergency Unit battled a wildfire near Tamarite de Litera in Huesca province, Aragon, on June 26, after flames scorched at least 1,000 hectares. The Aragon regional government declared a level 2 emergency on June 25 as crews worked through the night to contain the blaze, clearing vegetation and using hoses to stop it from spreading.
