The 9th China-Eurasia Expo opened on June 25 in Urumqi, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, drawing over 3,000 firms from 49 countries. The 140,000-square-meter event features new AI and green pavilions, with Kazakhstan and Pakistan as guests of honor. More than 80 trade activities are scheduled, as officials from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan seek greater agricultural and logistics cooperation. Since 2011, the expo has grown into a key Belt and Road platform, with China-Central Asia trade surpassing $100 billion in 2025.
