Thermal imaging has been used to reveal the scorching temperatures of urban London, with pavements, roads and bus stops reaching up to 59 degrees Celsius.

London continues to battle sizzling temperatures, and elsewhere in the UK, records continue to be broken. In the south-east county of Suffolk, 37.3 degrees Celsius was recorded on Friday. The stark videos call into question whether Europe's cities can cope with such extreme temperatures.
