This year marks the 105th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of China. Speaking at a CGTN panel, former Ecuadorian Minister of Public Works and Transport Hector Villagran Cepeda said the CPC's long-term planning and discipline set a good example of governance for the Global South. He also called for a large-scale poverty alleviation campaign across Latin America, which he says could draw inspiration from the CPC's practices.
