On the new journey ahead, the whole Party must improve its ability to reasonably foresee changing situations, understand risks in a timely manner and effectively tackle challenges, said Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee.

Xi, also Chinese president and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks when addressing a gathering marking the 105th founding anniversary of the CPC in Beijing on Wednesday.
